Currently I am advising MPOWERD, which I co-founded, after inventing the Luci solar lantern.
MPOWERD (Micro Power Design) is the world's leading for purpose technology incubator, accelerator, and manufacturer providing portable energy lifestyle innovations to those that need it most. I founded MPOWERD to provide sustainable, affordable, thoughtfully designed products with the belief that everyone deserves access to well crafted, functional products.
Luci, is an easy-to-use, high-quality micro solar lantern and task light. She's elegant, light-weight, maintenance-free and waterproof. Unlike other solar lamps, Luci offers the benefits of a task light, flashlight and diffused lantern in one attractive design. Never reliant on the power grid, she shines brightest where light is inaccessible or not affordable. To light up life with clean energy, Luci is your girl.
Luci provides a low cost, long life, durable, solar lighting solution for walking at night, camping, emergency use, those who live off the grid, can't afford to live on the grid and victims of a disaster.

FOUNDER
2010 - 2012 (2 yrs)DUOMENTIS was a digital innovation and invention firm that worked within the three stages of the invention: Introduce the Possible, Determine the Probable, Execute the Preferable. The company focused on helping businesses identify, invent and monetize game-changing, technology-enabled new business methods, products, services, and marketing properties.
For Adtheorent we worked with the CEO, Managing Partner & Chief Legal Officer and Chief Data Scientist to improve and protect the Real-Time Learning Machine (RTLM) asset which is the intelligence behind the AdTheorent platform. The AdTheorent RTLM leverages technology that processes Big Data for real-time analysis and scoring, based on criteria including advertiser's demographic data, geographic data, publishers' data, and other information.
We also conceived of and launched gopogo. A social, local, mobile (SoLoMo) geo-location platform to chronicle discovery. With the rise of social networks, people share more information about themselves online than ever before. Social feeds now disseminate content in realtime, but the problem is that a lot of this sharing gets lost in the noise — and with content piling up so quickly, stuff gets lost. gopogo solved this problem with "Strings." Strings let users capture and record multiple activities or experiences linked together in succession to form a complete thematic experience or story complete with photos, videos, and commentary – can be archived and shared on social networks and with the gopogo community. By browsing through gopogo’s library of user-generated Strings, users can also discover other experiences organized by location, theme, or areas of interest.
Duomentis clients included brand marketers, media companies, technology companies and forward-thinking advertising agencies such as Google, Procter & Gamble, Adtheorent, and the Publicis Group.

I am the inventor of JAGTAG and was responsible for leading JAGTAG technology strategy and intellectual property protection since its inception thru the sale to Hipcricket (formerly Augme) in 2011.
I developed the entire intellectual property portfolio and drove the authoring, defense and publishing of the JAGTAG patents.
JAGTAG is a mobile 2D barcode service. Like other services, it requires you to take a picture of a mobile barcode in order to work. But unlike most other services, it doesn’t require you to have a reader application installed on your device. Instead, you send the pic by MMS to the JAGTAG server, where it does the recognition work. Whatever it is that the barcode links to (a URL, some content, an app, music, an information SMS, etc.) is then sent back to your phone via SMS or MMS or other media format. So JAGTAG will work on any phone that has a camera on it, no matter how old. It doesn’t require a smartphone.

Its features focused on web browsing as well as email. For instance, one does not have to sign in to AOL in order to use it as a regular browser. In addition, non-AOL email accounts could be accessed through it.

WeMedia Inc., held the exclusive rights for international Webcasting and US rights holder for television coverage of the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games. At the time it was the most ambitious sports Webcast ever staged on the Internet.
The Paralympic Games - the second-largest sporting event in the world - have been held "parallel" to each Summer Olympic Games since 1960; presenting world class athletic competition for athletes with disabilities.
Viewers had simultaneous access to information and breaking news on athletes, venues and events. To make the Webcast accessible to the largest audience, two versions of the event were designed; one developed exclusively using Flash, and another using standard HTML and images for people who use accessible technologies or have slower Internet connections.
We had interactive content streaming in real-time from our broadcast center in Sydney accompanying the different live streams. In many ways this work set the standard by which Webcast events were measured - this was the yardstick for a convergent media experience using the best technology available at the time.
The media-enhanced site incorporated some of the most cutting-edge technology available as it was the first commercial web site to use Flash 5. The HTML site was accessible to screen readers with alternate text for graphical and navigational images.

NYNOW or New York Now was one of the earliest NYC city guides on the Internet. NYNOW was a showcase to demonstrate the syndicated publishing framework on which it operated. The Content Management System (CMS) was designed to be licensed to local content publishers around the world. As a flexible local search and syndicated content publishing framework it was an early digital media pioneer. It preceded other city guide networks such as Citysearch and Microsoft's now-defunct Sidewalk.com product.
