TRADESHOW: ENGAGING BOOTHS MERCK MS: INSIDE OUT
IDEA: Merck was introducing a new drug for MS and wanted to show the commitment they had to educating and raising awareness of what it is like to physically and emotionally live with MS.
We created an activation that immerses visitors in a ‘day in the life’ of an MS patient - a journey through familiar and unknown situations in Home, Travel and Work settings. It educates them on some of the physical MS symptoms and how the condition affects the human body. The highlight is a VR 4D experience in which you explore your body by walking around. As it is multi-sensory, you feel the wind as you open the window, smell the fresh grass as you walk outside.
RESULTS: The exhibition was such a success that a scaled down version became a traveling exhibition.
95% said their understanding and awareness of MS improved
78% said their medical knowledge of MS improved
68% visited the experience to actively improve their
understanding of MS.
